William Rivelli is an original in the world of photography: a recognized master of architectural, portrait and industrial photography in both the advertising and corporate fields whose personal work has found a place in galleries and fine-art publications.
Mr. Rivelli briefly pursued a business career after graduating Brown University as a Philosophy major but quickly turned to his passion from the age of twelve— photography. Beginning as an assistant to Life magazine photographer Nina Leen, through an apprenticeship with renowned photographer Ralph Steiner, and studies with design legend Alexey Brodovitch, he developed what would become the hallmark of his photographic style an eye for the graphic, symbolic and pristine interpretation of the visual.
Mr. Rivelli's career in photography has been crowned with accolades and is now approaching its 48th year. Bill continues to accept assignments and his fine art prints are much in demand. His partner in this endeavor is his wife, Cynthia, who acts as his agent.
